H.M.Cowdroy is proud to introduce the NEW MERCURY Window and Door Seal range.

Why should you use a window/door seal?

Fitting a seal to your window or door may help eliminate or minimise problems such as light, sound, dust, draughts, wind, rain, insects and rodents.

Seals can also increase the energy efficiency of your home by minimising temperature loss through door and window gaps. Stay warmer in winter and cooler in summer and at the same time you can save money on your heating and cooling bills.

Which seal is the right one for you?

Before selecting your window or door seal you need to know which seal will do the job you require.

Determining the following points will help guide you toward the correct door seal selection.

*Are you sealing a window or door?
*Is it hinged or sliding?
*If it is hinged, does the door open inwardly or outwardly?
*What is the size of the gap you wish to seal?
*What function do you need the seal to perform? (eg. seal against light, sound, dust, draughts, wind, rain, insects and rodents etc).
*What is the width of your door?
*What colour is your existing door furniture (locks, hinges etc)?

Mercury Weather Seals

CM1 ROLLING DOOR SEAL

A furry door seal which hangs off hooks at the base of the door and rolls as the door is opened and closed.

Suits single & double hinged doors - inward opening
Seals gaps up to 19mm
Seals against heat, cold, dust and draughts
Especially suited to uneven and rough surfaces
915mm wide in Grey. 

CM2A BRUSH STRIP DOOR SEAL

An extruded aluminium door seal with a brush strip insert and a self adhesive backing tape. May also be screw fixed.

Suits single & double hinged doors - inward & outward opening
Also suitable for sliding doors & security screens
Seals gaps up to 19mm
Seals against heat, cold, dust, draughts and insects
Self adhesive backing
915mm wide in Bronze Anodised, Clear Anodised and Gold Anodised

CM3 AUTOMATIC DOOR SEAL

An extruded aluminium door seal with a rubber insert. Cam operation automatically lifts and drops the seal as required.

Suits single hinged doors - inward opening
Seals gaps up to 16mm
Seals against heat, cold, dust, draughts and insects
Automatically lifts / drops when door is opened / closed

CM4 WEATHER PROOF DOOR SEAL

An extruded 2-part aluminium door seal with rubber inserts. Seal fixes to the door while the tread plate fixes to the floor.

Suits single & double hinged doors - inward & outward opening
Gap of 25mm required between bottom of door and sill
Seals against rain, heat, cold, dust, draughts, noise and insects
Ideal for doors exposed to the weather

CM5 RUBBER STRIP DOOR SEAL

CM17 EXTRUDED PVC DOOR SEAL

An extruded PVC door seal with a self adhesive backing tape. May also be screw fixed.

CM54 WEATHER PROOF DOOR SEAL

An extruded aluminium tread plate which fixes to the floor and extruded rubber seals which fix beneath the door.

Suits single & double hinged doors - inward opening
Gap of 22mm to 25mm is required between bottom of door and sill
Seals against rain, heat, cold, dust, draughts, insects and rodents
915mm wide in Clear Anodised

CM60 AUTOMATIC DOOR SEAL

An extruded aluminium door seal with rubber inserts. Pin trigger automatically lifts and drops the seal as required.

Suits single & double hinged doors - inward opening

CM14 FOAM WINDOW / DOOR SEAL

A continuous foam seal with a self adhesive backing tape. May be fitted to jambs, faces or edges of windows/doors.
